Hearing Tests
If you think you or a loved one may have hearing loss, the first step is a hearing test. We provide diagnostic audiological testing for anyone with hearing concerns. We can test your hearing ability and determine the cause and degree of hearing loss. All of our testing is done in a sound treated booth and consists of pure tone sound testing, accuracy to speech understanding, and your ability to understand speech with competing noise.
Tinnitus Treatment
Tinnitus, commonly known as, “ringing in the ears,” affects millions of Americans. Tinnitus is described as hearing a ringing, buzzing, humming, whistling, or whooshing sound in your ears when no external sound is present. Tinnitus can be mild or severe, soft or loud, intermittent or constant.
Tinnitus can be caused by a variety of factors, including:

If you struggle with annoying tinnitus, the audiologists at Ear Works Audiology can help you. Cognivue: Cognitive Screening

Hearing ability is the number one modifiable risk factor for cognitive decline. People with untreated hearing loss experience a 30%-40% greater decline in cognitive abilities and an increased risk of developing dementia. Because your hearing ability is so deeply connected to your brain health, we offer Cognivue screening.
Cognivue screening is a five-minute, self-administered test that evaluates three cognitive functions: memory, visuospatial, and executive function as well as reaction time and speed processing. This screening is a major step toward identifying cognitive decline caused by depression, anxiety, and hearing loss. To learn more about Cognivue, please contact us.
Real Ear Verification
Real ear verification is the measurement of sound pressure levels in your ear canal that is developed when wearing a hearing aid. Our hearing specialists use real ear verification to ensure your hearing aids are providing you with the proper amplification to hear in different environments.
