Dear Patients,

Our goal during this crisis has been to continue patient care as usual, with extra precaution, keeping the safety of our patients and staff our utmost priority.  We have been doing our very best to remain available to you for your audiologic needs but due to ongoing concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and in light of the recent directives from the State of New York and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it has come to the point where we must take difficult action that we know will have far reaching impact on our families, our staff and our patients.

Effective Monday, March 23, 2020, Ear Works Audiology will be closing all of our offices for 1 week.  This decision has been made to do our part in helping to “flatten the curve” that will hopefully increase the safety of our patients, our staff and loved ones who are at risk of contracting this potentially deadly virus.  The offices are tentatively scheduled to re-open on April 1, 2020.

We are in the process of reaching out to patients by phone and ask for your patience with our team, as they work through this to get everyone rescheduled for a later date.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at (516)248-0068 or (631) 332-3274.  Designated staff members will have limited access to phone/email and our patient information remotely to assist you over the upcoming days.

With so much uncertainty surrounding us, we do know some things for sure:

  • Our team is strong and united. We have come to work each and every day with one goal in mind – to do good for every patient who comes through our doors and who grants us the privilege of providing them with care.  The decision to close our doors is with that practice purpose in the forefront of all of our minds.  We will always do good for our patients, our team and the community.

  • We have the BEST patients! Since 2001, we have gotten to know them and build strong relationships with them and their families.  They have become part of our extended family and we are forever grateful for the loyalty and trust they have put in our practice.  It is our greatest wish is to continue building those bonds in the very near future.

  • We will overcome this. If we all follow the recommendations to adhere to social distancing guidelines, the chances of flattening the curve will greatly increase and we will all be able to get back to normal much faster.  We encourage you to take this time to practice self-care.  Enjoy quality time with your families.  Take a walk.  Listen to music.  Read something uplifting.

We will continue to provide email updates and announcements regarding COVID-19 and our plans moving forward as things change.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding and look forward to seeing you again very soon.

Stay well,

Ear Works Audiology
